...promoting the use of cutting-edge simulation tools to analyse architectural design behaviour......
My name is Danny Lobos.
I'm a Chilean Architect, graduated from the School of Architecture of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (2000). During that period the Architecture School was directed by architect Hans Fox Timmling (PhD University of Stuttgart and Post PhD University of London).
My main field of expertise is teaching and research. I'm currently focused on BPS (Building Performance Simulation), BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD Systems (Computer-Aided Design), subjects that I have taught in several Chilean universities (2000-2006) and recently in several German universities (Bauhaus University Weimar, Stuttgart University, Münster FH and Anhalt FH University (Dessau) of Applied Sciences. 2007-2011.
My interest in this area has allowed me to get to know important people in the CAAD Scientist Community all over the world, and I have finished recently my PhD Research titled "BIM Supported Building Envelopes and Space Layout based on a case study in South America". After that I started two PostDoctoral research projects incluiding Building Performance parameters to the Space Layout Planning techniques.
Now I am back in Chile spreading BIM and BPS technologies in academia, industry and government.
